I spent $2,000 on this coffee machine and my coffee still tastes like shit. I need you guys to tell me what I'm doing wrong because I've gone through four bags of beans. I've watched a million Breville videos and it doesn't say anything about weighing the beans. But if that's what I need to be doing, let me know. Espresso. I've dialed in an 18. This is what it looks like. Is that correct? Brew. It's supposed to start brewing within 7 to 10 seconds. Your Breville Oracle Touch should brew for an extraction time of about 25 to 32 seconds, and you should count this time right from when you press the brew button to start the shot. Total brew time of 25 to 30 seconds. It started at 9 seconds. This is what it looks like. It's supposed to taste really good. It tastes like shit. I don't know if I just don't like the taste of plain espresso or if it tastes really bitter. I knew this was going to be a learning curve, but I'm about to crash out and return it. Please tell me what I'm doing wrong and give me all of your tips.
