Why it worked

The video uses a relatable "first world problem" scenario of a student trying to balance academic responsibilities with a desired event, which resonates with a student audience. The use of on-screen text and a clear, concise message makes it easy to digest.

Summary

The creator, Bella Groesser, is emailing a professor to apologize for a "very minor first world problem" and to request a test reschedule. She explains that Daily Drills is coming to Auburn, and she wants to attend, but it conflicts with her 9:30 AM test. She understands if rescheduling is not possible.

Structure

1Creator apologizes for a minor issue.
2Creator explains the conflict: Daily Drills is coming to Auburn.
3Creator requests to reschedule a test.
4Creator expresses understanding if rescheduling is not possible.
5Creator signs off.

Product placement

TikTok: It merely APPEARS as a watermark on the video. Removing it would not change what happens in the video. AUBURN: It merely APPEARS as a university logo on a business card. Removing it would not change what happens in the video.

On-screen text

BG TikTok Hi very minor first world problem I AM SORRY Summarize this email Bella Groesser Good morning! This is so ridiculous. I am sorry, but I wanted to email you in case this is possible! I am in your 9:30 AM T class and I know we have our first test tomorrow. Is there any way for me to reschedule my test because Daily Drills is coming to Auburn at 9 AM and I really wanted to be there early. I completely understand if this cannot be rescheduled. I did not know if maybe you have another T class, I can sit in with to take the test at a different time. Again, so sorry and understand if this is not going to work. LOVE Thank you!
