What the hell is this?! Do you see it too?! 🤯 Cold morning. Thick fog. A strange, almost unnatural silence. Just a gentle breeze moving through the trees. Perfect weather for a walk. We packed some snacks and coffee into our backpacks and headed into the mountains. After a while, we found a tiny pond hidden deep in the forest. For some reason, it was completely fenced off. There was nobody around. No hikers. No houses. No signs. Just white cormorants standing silently by the water. We sat down and pulled out some old pieces of bread soaked in milk soup. Naturally, we started feeding the wild snails. Because apparently, that’s what you do in the mountains. Then, while throwing them some pig feed, I noticed something moving in the leaves. I looked closer. It stopped. I stopped. It was looking directly at me. One enormous eye. It didn’t blink. Not once. I took a step closer. Nothing. I whispered, “What the hell is that?” Nothing. Just that eye staring into my soul like it knew something I didn’t. And then I realized… It was watching me the entire time. It knew I was coming. It knew I would find it. It knew I would tell you this story. And honestly… It was absolutely right. Because none of this was real. The fog? Staged. The pond? Staged. The cormorants? Probably actors. The wild snails? Unionized. And the creepy creature hiding in the leaves? A toy. Hidden in the leaves just to scare the living shit out of me.
