ELLIE PRICE BBC Correspondent known as the 'Putney pusher' because for years nobody knew who he was. The police launched an investigation shortly after it happened nine years ago and said they had 50 people of interest. they closed that investigation saying all lines of inquiry had been exhausted. It wasn't until June this year that 44-year-old Nicholas Brandram was arrested on suspicion of attempted grievous bodily harm. Now, he was released under investigation and never faced any charges. The former Army officer who more recently worked in banking for HSBC is also a distant relative of British royalty, and he was the grandson of Princess Katherine of Greece. Police have confirmed his home in Chiswick. unexpected, but not treating it as suspicious.
