Why it worked

The video taps into the 'cozy' aesthetic and the popular 'BookTok' subculture by offering a low-cost, relatable, and romanticized weekend activity that viewers can easily replicate.

Summary

A creator shares a cozy, seasonal activity idea called a 'book crawl' where one visits three coffee shops to read 50 pages of a book at each location. The video features the creator browsing a bookstore to pick out a book for the activity.

Structure

1Introduce the book crawl concept
2Explain the rules of the activity
3Show the creator browsing for a book

Here’s your sign to go book shopping this week ⤵️ 💭 What book are you looking forward to reading before the end of 2026? It’s a massive reading slump era for me lately 😭 i adore reading, but between work and home stress, there’s just a lot going on right now. It’s been a lot of uncertainty and what ifs, and I’ve gotten to the point where I just want to escape for a weekend and spend a few days at a cabin in the woods with a cozy fireplace and a pile of books 🌸 If you’ve been having a hard time lately, you’re not alone. My DMs are always open, and remember to take care of yourself 💕 #tiktokgrowthchallenge #bookish #barnesandnoble #BookTok #bookchallenge
