You already use 5 every day without knowing it. 1. $TDG TransDigm makes small, critical aircraft parts, and on most of them they’re the only approved supplier on earth. About 90% of revenue comes from parts no competitor is allowed to make. Getting a rival part FAA-certified takes years and millions on a component worth a few thousand dollars, so nobody does it. 2. $POOL The only national distributor of swimming pool supplies in America. There is no second one. A pool needs chlorine, filters and pumps every week forever, or it turns green. 3. $WSO Every air conditioner in America eventually breaks, and the contractor fixing it buys the part from Watsco. For four decades their strategy has been the same: buy the local distributor. 4. $CTAS You’ve seen their uniforms in every restaurant, garage and clinic you’ve ever walked into. Most people have never heard the name. They’ve raised the dividend for over 40 consecutive years. 5. $OTIS Otis makes elevators, but elevators aren’t the business. Around two thirds of revenue comes from service contracts on units that run 25 years or more, in buildings that can’t switch providers without shutting the elevator down. Roughly 2.4 million units under service. You rode one this week and never thought about the company. None of these are exciting. That’s the point. Save this so you don’t lose the list. Which one would you hold forever? Not financial advice. Do your own research. #stockstobuy #stockstowatch #stockinvesting #stockstohold #stockmarket
