How to make your parents say YES? First strategy. Go party, yourself. Instead, ask your friend ask them for you. Now your parents are much less likely to say no, because it's harder to reject someone when they're standing right there. The next strategy. Asking, say, can I go to my friends party? Instead, add, do you want me to be home by 10 PM or 11 PM? Now, your parents start thinking. They only have two choices. So instead of you deciding whether you can go, they're deciding what time you should be home. Then comes the decoy strategy. First, ask something unreasonable, can I stay out until 3 AM? Of course, say, how about 10 PM? 10 PM sounds more reasonable. But the ultimate strategy. The bonus strategy. Before asking, do chores, compliment them. Then only ask.
