Want your mums to come back next year? 🌼 Don’t toss them after fall! Give them the best chance of making a comeback: 🌱 1. PLANT THEM EARLY Get them in the ground early enough to establish strong roots before winter. 💧 2. KEEP THEM WATERED Don’t let newly planted mums completely dry out while their roots are getting established. ✂️ 3. DON’T CUT THEM BACK YET Leave the stems through winter and cut them back in spring. 🍂 4. PROTECT THE ROOTS Add a layer of mulch once cold weather arrives to help protect the roots through winter.
