Did you just purchase a mum? Here's some tips to make them last longer. Once you get home, put them in a bucket of water for 20 to 30 minutes to let them soak. Tip no. 2, keep your mums in a sunny area. They need at least 6 hours of sun with a little bit of shade each day. Tip no. 3, never water your mums from up top. Always water from underneath. You'll dry out the mums and you'll dry out the buds on the flowers. Tip no. 4, clip off any finished flowers to make them last longer.
