Why it worked

The video likely went viral due to the shocking and unsanitary nature of a rodent on food, combined with the relatable setting of a pizzeria, creating a "ick" factor that encourages sharing.

Summary

A video shows a mouse crawling on breadsticks inside a Sbarro pizzeria in New York. The restaurant was subsequently inspected and found to have no evidence of pest activity.

Structure

1Mouse spotted on food in pizzeria
2Video shows rodent on breadsticks
3Restaurant inspected after incident
4No evidence of pest activity found

Product placement

Sbarro: ACTS - it is a pizzeria where a mouse is seen crawling on food. Removing it would change the video's subject. 7NEWS: APPEARS - it is a news channel logo and watermark. Removing it would not change what happens in the video.
