Step 2 in making a haunted house soap is cutting our soap. because I can't wait to see how the little houses turned out. After scraping these into a house shape, I let them harden up, for about a day, and then I'm able to unmold and cut them. It turned out so cute. I'm so excited about it. The deep purple with a little bit of sparkle. it is exactly what I was picturing for our haunted house. And now that we can actually see the shape, I'm getting even more excited, because we still have the best parts to do with these little haunted houses, which is the decorating part. We finally get to turn our houses into haunted houses with the scraper I bought, it actually came for stamps for the door and the window, but obviously, I couldn't just leave them with windows and doors. We need to make this spooky. It's a Halloween soap. Let me tell you, finding a Halloween stamp small enough for these was way harder than I expected. I spent so many hours online trying to find some kind of stamp or some way to make these halloweeny. I needed, like, a stamp or something that was less than three quarters of an inch. And I finally found these little, tiny pumpkin cookie cutters. But then I had to figure out how to place everything really carefully. So the pumpkin, the ghost, the door and The window would all fit without running off the edge or messing up the shape of the house. Once I got everything stamped, I went back in with a little bit of mica to give the ghost and the pumpkin some colour. and then I coloured in the windows to make them look like they're glowing. You guys, I am so proud of these. I make a lot of pretty soap, but I think this might be the cutest soap I have ever made. And I really, really hope you guys think so, too.
