Potato Please

A first-person potato peeling game. You have a knife. You have a bucket. You have a mountain of potatoes. Peel them with real physics. Cut thin, waste nothing. Buy better tools. Finish the pile.

Why it worked

The video likely performed well due to its unique and humorous premise (potato peeling for an army), combined with engaging gameplay footage and a clear call to action to wishlist the game. The creator also leveraged their own content by promoting their newsletter.

Summary

This video showcases pre-alpha gameplay footage of a first-person potato peeling game called "Potato Please," where players must peel potatoes to feed an army. Product placement

Indie Game Joe (creator handle): appears as a watermark/attribution on the video, does not act. Removing it would not change what happens in the video. Potato Please (game): acts, its interface is operated to peel potatoes, and the visible result is the game's gameplay. Removing it would change what happens in the video.

Call to action
