Presley Gerber, the son of supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber, has died at the age of 27. Gerber died Sunday, Sept. 20, at a rehabilitation facility, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner records obtained by PEOPLE. An autopsy has not yet been completed. His family has asked for privacy as they mourn the loss, saying in a statement: 'The family is asking for privacy during this very difficult and painful time.' In recent years, Gerber had spoken openly about his struggles with mental health and substance abuse, saying he hoped sharing his experiences could help others.
