Original caption

first time trying Din Tai Fung 🥟🥢 really enjoyed their famous cucumber salad, spicy chicken wontons, & noodles with sesame sauce 😋 LOVED the chocolate dumplings with the sea salt cream🍫 was surprised that the signature soup dumplings were kind of dry 😅 not what I was expecting — still good, but have def had better especially in NYC overall, great ambiance + service, lots of tasty dishes, would go back ❣️ the wait can get VERY long so definitely join the online waitlist to avoid waiting for hours. saw a few people attempt to do a walk-ins (not worth even trying IMO) #dintaifung #nyceats #nycfoodie #soupdumplings #xiaolongbao
