A wee look at how I actually mark the autumn equinox as a Scottish witch. I think there can be pressure in the online witchcraft space to make every seasonal celebration elaborate and ritualistic - but your practice can be much simpler than that. The equinox is a beautiful time to pause, notice what’s changing around ye, gather what you need and begin turning inward as we move towards the dark half of the year. The trees are already showing us how to let go. It’s a point of surrender and celebration. You don’t need a cupboard full of witchy things to practise magic. Git outside, pay attention, make an offering, give thanks and let something go.
