One of my favorite things about App Store games outside of what I norm and that I normally reach for because sometimes those are the games that can show you a whole new world of what gaming can be. And Dead Cells was that game for me. A lot of games I naturally gravitate towards are story-driven or RPG's, but I've always loved stepping out of my genres and playing something new. Dead Cells ~roguevania action platformer ~ is a fast paced rougevania action-platformer where every run gives you another opportunity to explore, experiment with different weapons, and skills and learn a little more about how the world works. As someone who studied video game development this is the kind of design that really fascinates me. Between the animation, movement, environments, and combat it has such a distinct game play style that immediately hooks you in. This is my favorite kind of game to find on the App Store, the one that shows you the completely different experiences you can have within gaming. If you're ready to try something outside of your usual gaming rotation, I've added Dead Cells Dead Cells App Store ~link in bio~ so you can check it out on the App Store!
