Why it worked
The video uses a relatable 'copycat recipe' hook that promises to recreate a popular restaurant dish at home, which is a highly engaging format for food content.
Summary
A person prepares a homemade soup that they claim is inspired by Cicis pizza. The video shows the process of adding ingredients like pasta, chicken, and vegetables to a bowl.
Structure
- 1Empty bowl is shown
- 2Pasta is added to the bowl
- 3Chicken and vegetables are added
- 4Broth is poured over the ingredients
- 5Soup is stirred with a wooden spoon
Product placement
Cicis (a pizza restaurant chain) appears as a brand name in the on-screen text. It merely APPEARS as a reference to the inspiration for the homemade soup. Removing the name would not change the video, as it is a homemade recipe video.
