One thing I stopped doing as a mama of four is repeating myself 47 times a day. Everybody has their own routine on our Skylight, so instead of constantly asking me what to do next, they can actually see it themselves. In the morning, that might be getting dressed, brushing teeth, making their own bed, and after school they have their own little routines and chores too. They can walk over, check off what they finish, and keep moving throughout their day without me having to manage every single step. And I think that's actually my favorite part. Yes, it makes our days run smoother, but more than anything, I'm actually watching them learn how to be responsible for their own things. It's giving less reminding, more independence, and that's what I love, especially using Skylight.
