Why it worked

The video leverages a humorous, relatable "emo" aesthetic and a specific brand-related challenge to drive engagement through a trending audio format.

Summary

Two creators dance in a Wendy's parking lot to promote the brand's new "emo album" campaign. The video encourages viewers to create their own content using the album.

Structure

1Text overlay introduces the mood
2Creators dance in a Wendy's parking lot
3Music plays with lyrics about Wendy's
4Call to action to create videos with the album

Product placement

(a) Wendy's: The brand is the subject of the video, with the creator dancing in front of a Wendy's restaurant and the caption promoting their "emo album." The brand is the central focus and the reason for the video's existence. Removing it would change the entire premise of the video.
