As I finish my PhD I needed a dedicated space to read, think and write. It’s been my dream to reopen this unused space in our house and it’s finally happening. We added a loft ladder ($500 ish) and and going to save for a contractor to install proper stairs. In the meantime, I now have an entire room to turn into my dissertation den and I’m so excited! #dissertation #phdstudent #barnconversion #diyproject #homerenovation
