I found a baby opossum that fell off its mom while she was crossing the fence. It didn't even notice it lost the little one. I rushed right over to check on it. I couldn't bear to leave it all alone out there. I decided to bring it home first. Once in the house, I fed it some food. It kept staring right at me, poor little thing. I gave it a nice warm bath. It blew a tiny little bubble. Now it's a squeaky-clean baby. I feed it food every single day. It's grown so much bigger over time. It loves crawling all over my lap nonstop. I named this little opossum Molly. Later on, we released it back into the wild. Hoped it would grow up happy and healthy. We're so proud to see this one return to the wild! A few months later one night, I spotted it back at my place. I let it in and fed it some snacks. It totally still remembered us. Just a week later, I realized its pouch was full of tiny babies. It blew my mind, such a huge surprise. I helped Molly take care of all the little joeys. All the babies climbed right up onto my head. The whole little family fell asleep together. Who wouldn't want a cute baby opossum of their own?
