Winter arc starts next week, which means it's officially time to lock in. And no, this does not mean completely changing your life overnight. It's getting serious about the goals that you want to reach. So we have five main categories: Routine, Reset, Fitness, Nutrition, and Mindset. Starting with routine. 1. Wake up and go to bed at the same time EVERYDAY. 2. Do NOT snooze alarm. Get up the first time it goes. 3. 8-10 hours of sleep because you need to be properly rested for all the things you're going to accomplish. 4. Stop scrolling when you wake up/before bed. Stop scrolling the second you wake up or before you go to bed. 5. Prep everything the night before. And this one is super important, but make sure you're prepping everything the night before so you can go to sleep with a peaceful mind and you do not have to wake up worrying about anything. Moving on to reset. 1. Sunday reset every week. Having a Sunday reset every single week to make sure you can organize yourself for the week ahead. So for me, that looks like grocery shopping and meal prep. Clean my sheets, do laundry, put it all away, all that stuff. 4. Clean your space. Plan your entire week ahead, including your meals, your workouts, all the things, just so that your brain doesn't have so much going on. 6. Set clear goals/intentions for the week. Set clear goals and intentions for the week and have goals that you want to reach by the end of each week. 7. Do something that makes you happy. So if that means going out with friends or get a cup of coffee, whatever it is, do something that makes you happy. Next, fitness. 1. Strength train 4-5x per week. 2. 10-12k steps per day. Getting steps in is actually not as hard as you think if you just have them set up. For me, the second I wake up, I will go on a walk after each meal, only 10 minutes of walking, and they do stack up. 3. Other forms of fitness. I do hot sculpt 1-2x per week. 4. 1-2 rest/recovery days. At least one to two times per week, and remember that more does not mean better. Quality over quantity. Almost done. We're moving into nutrition now. Nutrition is kind of my thing. 1. Track macros/calories. I personally like doing this only because I like to stick to a plan and it helps me. 2. 3 balanced meals per day plus some snacks. So a balanced meal, protein, carbs, fat, fiber. That's it. That's what you need. 3. 25-30g of fiber per day. Speaking of fiber, make sure you're getting in 25 to 30 grams of fiber every single day. 4. 2-3L of water per day. And along with fiber, you need water. So 2 to 3 liters of that a day. 5. Eat without distraction. This one is my favorite, but make sure you're eating without distraction because you are constantly filling your brain with dopamine if you are eating and you are scrolling at the same exact time. Last but not least, mindset. This one might be the most important category on this list. 1. Focus on the present rather than past and future. Stay in the present. Stop looking so much in the future, stop dwelling on the past, and just be in the present moment. A lot of our worry and our anxiety only comes from dwelling on the past and the future. 2. Spend intentional time with God/read the Bible everyday. This one is very important to me, but making sure I am spending intentional time with God and reading my Bible every single day, no matter what, no excuse. 3. Protect your peace. Protecting your peace is so important. So also being intentional with the people you are spending your time with. 4. Do not react based off of emotion. This one is very important, but do not react based off of emotion. 5. Less negative talk. Whether that is to other people complaining about others, gossiping, talking about yourself, whatever it is, get rid of it. Positivity only. This is just my everything I track for winter arc and you can do something different, you can pick and choose what you want to do off the list. The most important part is that you are choosing things that are going to be sustainable for you and that is going to work for you in the long run. Do not jump in with both feet if you do not have any type of foundation set. These things might be quite difficult, but you want to slowly ease yourself into building these habits over time so that you can keep these going for as long as you want. You got it.
