Disney Cookie Jar

Why it worked

The video leverages the 'Costco find' trend, which relies on the scarcity and novelty of seasonal items to drive engagement and urgency among shoppers.

Summary

The creator showcases a new Disney-themed holiday cookie jar found at Costco, highlighting its design and the included sugar cookies. She notes that it would make a great gift while expressing personal interest in the item.

Structure

1Introduction of the Disney cookie jar at Costco
2Description of the two available designs
3Highlighting the included Mickey and Minnie shaped cookies
4Personal recommendation as a gift

Product placement

Costco (a) ACTS: the creator is physically inside the store, showing the product on the shelf, and identifying it as a new item at this specific retailer. Removing this would change the video as it is a store-specific find. Disney (a) ACTS: the brand is on the product, the cookies, and the packaging; it defines the aesthetic and the theme of the item. Ten Acre Gifts (a) APPEARS: the brand name is visible on the product tag, but the creator does not mention it or operate its interface.

Original caption

Wait, the cookies are included? 😍 This Disney cookie jar at Costco actually comes filled with Mickey and Minnie shaped sugar cookies, 16 oz, plus the jar itself has this adorable hand-painted holiday village design. Ribbon and all, it's basically gift-wrapped already. This might be the cutest thing I've found all season. #costco #disney #sugarcookies #mickeymouse #cookies

This is so cute. It's a cookie jar that looks like a giant ornament. There are two types, there's a red and a white, and both of them have a painted village scene in it. The best part is it actually comes with cookies inside that are sugar cookies shaped like Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse. This would make the perfect gift, but I kind of want one for myself.
