These were the important travel documents/forms I kept ready for our journey: 📄 1. Consent Form Since I was travelling internationally with my baby without my husband, I carried a signed parental consent letter from him. It confirms that he was aware of and consented to our child travelling with me. 🎫 2. Flight Tickets I kept copies of our flight bookings/itinerary handy, including our onward/connecting flight details. It’s useful for airline check-in and immigration. 🛂 3. Passports I carried both my passport and my baby’s passport. Your baby needs their own passport for international travel. 🇮🇳 4. Baby’s Indian e-Visa Since my baby was travelling on a Canadian passport, I had her approved Indian e-Visa/ETA ready. A minor needs a separate e-Visa application, and the Government of India advises carrying a copy of the ETA while travelling. It provides arrival information to Indian immigration. (indianvisaonline.gov.in) ✈️ 6. Air Suvidha / Self-Declaration Form I also kept this on my checklist because it has been used for India’s health-related passenger self-declaration requirements. Current requirements can change, so always check the official Air Suvidha/Indian government guidance before your flight. The Indian Visa Online portal currently directs passengers to the Air Suvidha self-declaration form. It made me feel much more prepared. Save this for your next international trip with your little one! 🧳👶🏻❤️
