I'm here at Walmart and I'm gonna tell y'all about TVs that are actually worth it. From an engineer with an IT degree, I think I know what I'm talking about. The question I get a lot is about TVs for video games. And before I tell y'all what TV to get, there are some things that y'all really need to know. Refresh rate, HDMI, and auto low latency game modes. When it comes to these games, you need to have a minimum 120 hertz refresh rate. 120 hertz refresh rate only means that the image is going to change 120 times per second. When it comes to fast-paced gaming, that nanosecond does count. Next, you need an HDMI 2.1 cable. This one is not one my local Walmart was out of stock, but that's what you need because that's going to be able to give you that auto low latency mode and that 120 hertz refresh rate. The other cables stick to that 60 hertz refresh rate, so you get yourself a better TV but you can't utilize it to its full potential. That's a waste of money. So ultimately, out of all the TVs, which one would I pick from Walmart? None of them that are is sold in the store. You'll be better off going with a big Odyssey monitor by Samsung that has 165 hertz refresh rate if you want to game. Y'all let me know what else y'all want me to talk about in the comments.
