If your computer is running a little bit slow and you're thinking, I need to get a Geek Squad tune up or something, I'm gonna teach you the first couple things that they are going to do to the machine that way you can try it out yourself. Come down to the start menu. You're going to right click, go to Terminal Admin. That is going to open up a user access panel. You're going to say yes, I do. And then we're going to type in our command here. The command is sfc /scannow. This stands for System File Check. It's checking to see if your Windows operating system has any files that it thinks are corrupted or in the wrong space, that haven't downloaded properly during an update. With Windows updates doing all the AI thing, this happens more than you think. So you press enter and it starts to go through and scan your system's registry and all of that good stuff to make sure that, hey, your Windows is actually good to go. That's the first one. And hey, would you look at that, it's a good thing I ran it because they found corrupt files and successfully repaired them. Stay tuned for the next one. I always have to Google what this command is because it's much longer. This one at least you can memorize off the top of your head and run it really quick.
