4 essentials to freeze right now for lazy 10-min dinners

Let’s be honest: the absolute worst part of cooking is realizing the prep work takes twice as long as the actual meal 😭 SAVE this video, and batch-prep and freeze these ‘BIG FOUR’ aromatics so your future self can thank you for 0-effort 10-minute weeknight dinners✨ This simple freezer hack changes everything. You’ll stop wasting time prepping dinner from scratch and letting fresh ingredients rot in the fridge. Use freezer-safe bags and bag holder - prep tools linked in bio, also here: https://linktr.ee/marymadeiteasy Here is how I prep each one: 🌱 SCALLIONS: Wash and completely dry them. Slice and freeze flat in a freezer bag. 🧄 GARLIC: Buy pre-peeled garlic to save time. Mince in a food processor. Flatten inside a freezer bag and use the back of a butter knife or a chopstick to score grid lines into 1-tablespoon squares. 🫚 GINGER: Peel and mince in a food processor. Flatten inside a freezer bag and score into 1-teaspoon squares (smaller than the garlic since recipes usually call for less ginger). 🧅 ONIONS: Peel, WASH and DRY the onions before you chop! If you cut right through a dirty onion, your knife will drag all of that dirt and bacteria from the skin directly into the clean inside layers. Tip: double-bag them since the smell can be strong. Because freezing changes their cell structure, they will soften. Use the onions strictly for cooked dishes! They can all be used directly from frozen when cooking - no need to thaw first :) #CookingHacks #mealprep #easycooking #freezerfriendly #quickdinner
