Replying to @taylacespedes I’ve been using the Mixa Urea Cica Repair+ for my daughter and it’s been one of the products that has worked really well for us, so when someone suggested I try the Mixa Panthenol Comfort Anti-Scratching Cream too, I wanted to compare the two and actually understand the difference. The big thing with eczema is that what works beautifully for one person might not work for another. Even products made for sensitive or eczema-prone skin can feel completely different depending on the person and how compromised their skin barrier is. The Urea Cica doesn’t sting my daughter, but that absolutely doesn’t mean it won’t sting someone else. Urea can cause stinging or tingling on some irritated or compromised skin, so patch testing is always a good idea when introducing something new. We haven’t actually tried the Panthenol Comfort yet, so I’m not claiming it’s better or that it will work for us. I’m just sharing what I’ve learned about the two and what we’re going to try next 🤍 Reminder that I’m just a mum sharing our experience, not a dermatologist or medical professional. Eczema is SO individual and finding products your skin actually tolerates can involve a lot of trial and error. Patch test first, and if something causes ongoing burning, irritation or makes the skin worse, stop using it and speak with your healthcare professional. What works for us might not work for you, and that’s okay 🤍 #eczema #eczemaawareness #eczemaflareup #eczemahealing
