Why it worked
The post leverages high-engagement 'UFO sighting' tropes and speculative, conspiratorial language in the caption to drive comments and shares from users debating the object's origin.
Summary
A series of three images showing a blurry, elongated object in the upper atmosphere of Earth. The creator claims in the caption that the object is a massive UFO rather than space debris or a satellite.
Structure
- 1Introduction of the blurry object against the Earth's horizon
- 2Close-up view of the object's shape
- 3Final shot emphasizing the scale of the object
Original caption
For everyone saying this is space debris, or Starlink or any other satellite….no. Whatever this UFO is it is massive! We do not have the capability to launch anything this size 👀#usa #spacex #usa🇺🇸 #spaceship #ufosightings
