A former Cornell student who alleges she was s*xually assaulted by fraternity members wanted to leave the university afterward, but her lawyer says the school refused to refund her remaining tuition. Attorney Thomas Giuffra said his client instead spent the rest of the academic year on campus, where she continued to encounter men she alleges were involved in the incident. The woman, identified as Jane Doe in a civil lawsuit filed this month, is suing Cornell and seven men over the alleged 2024 assault.
