Costa Rica has sent 45 metric tons of seized drugs to the US aboard a military aircraft, where the haul is due to be destroyed. The shipment, which included c*caine seized during multiple operations, was transported from Alajuela with support from US authorities and other members of the Shield of the Americas. Costa Rican and US officials said the drugs have an estimated street value of more than $1.25 billion and will now be taken out of circulation. #costarica #usa #news #world #military
