Heather Brown died Sept. 18, 14 years after a brain aneurysm left her in a coma while she was pregnant with her first child. Her son, John, was delivered by emergency C-section at 34 weeks on Sept. 15, 2012, while Brown remained unconscious. She later returned home and showed some signs of progress, but never fully regained consciousness.
