My partner spent 10 million dirhams which is just short of 2 million pounds on an off-plan villa in Abu Dhabi and today was a very exciting day because we finally got to see the show villa. We have only seen a VR video of this villa so seeing it in person was honestly surreal. It just looked absolutely incredible. It was giving like California home but in the UAE. Now we are used to apartment living so the space in here was kind of crazy. But as you just walked in on the right there was a bedroom with an ensuite. All the bedrooms have ensuites which is amazing. This was like a smaller secondary living and dining area which I think we would use as an office and a snug. This space also had a bathroom which actually had three sinks in. Like how mad. This like hallway area which is kind of the center of the house honestly is just breathtaking. There is so much space. The staircase is stunning. I have never seen a dining table that big before so we are definitely going to have to have all the family over so we can do some hosting. And look at that kitchen. I cannot wait to do some cooking in that space. It is beautiful. There is actually a secondary kitchen which I didn't get the video of which I think is where you do like your messy cooking and it is a bit of a maid's room. Love the living room and how the windows are really big and look onto the garden and this little courtyard area. I have got to mention this does come unfurnished so you can really make it your own. Like you don't have to have this furniture but the interior that we went for was the light. There is a light villa and a dark villa and we went for the light one which I am so glad we did. Then out onto the garden. Again the space is crazy. Like there is so much room so we would obviously have a pool, barbecue area, seating area. Like there is so much you could do with this space. Love how they put the olive tree in that courtyard so you can see it from all the different rooms. It just looks so lovely. And then as you come up the stairs this was the landing. I love this like thick piece of marble. I don't know if it is actually marble but like this sort of material in the middle of the stairs. I feel like it just looks really grand and just is a really lovely finish. This is the master bedroom so it is lovely and spacious. You have got your own balcony and then these were the bigger walking wardrobes which as a girl who lives with loads of clothes I really need. And then you have also got an ensuite with a bath and the double sink. But this will probably just be my bathroom. There is like eight bathrooms in this house so James can have another one. I feel like girls and guys need to have their separate bathrooms, you know. And then this is your own like private terrace which is so spacious and gorgeous. And then when I turned around I literally saw the other terrace which is genuinely bigger than my house at home. My jaw was honestly on the floor. Like I have just never seen a terrace this big before. I have no idea what we will do with this space but I think we are going to have to get like an interior designer and just see what we can do so we can make use of it. The views of the garden and the house are just so nice from up here. I love looking down at that olive tree in the garden but honestly I was just taking it all in. Like I was just absolutely in awe of what they have done here. So James did buy this as an investment so the plan was never actually to move in but after seeing it we were like okay we are going to have to live here for a bit before we sell. I also just want to add that this is years and years worth of James grafting in real estate to get to this point and I am extremely lucky to be part of this journey with him. Yeah it is a proper pinch me moment and we are both absolutely buzzing.
