I nearly didn't let Katie talk me into visiting a new build development. As a first time buyer, I was so bloody glad I did. Now I won't name and shame any, but we did go see some new builds and let's just say I didn't even film any of it because they were goddamn awful. After the misery of scrolling right and me finding nothing that tickled off my pickle. Katie was like, come on, they've got good incentives, let's go down and see these ones. So these ones are from Amwell Homes and they are a family-led company that's been going 95 years and they actually started as a joinery company. So you know the woodwork's gonna be good. Different sites and different show homes that we've looked at was the Cheltenham, which is this one, the four bed detached, which was absolutely amazing. And Katie saw this bedroom and was like, this is like a football's room. And then we looked at the Ellen, which I'm gonna show you next. I didn't get loads of videos because to be honest, I wasn't planning on loving them, but I absolutely soaked it all up. And Amwell Homes contribute 5% to your deposit. So say for example, you're getting a 350,000 pound house, they're gonna give you 17,500k for free. Yes, you heard that here first. I was blown away. Obviously, the show home sell you it when you get a new build, there's so many upgrades that you cannot afford. But honestly, it just gives you so many ideas and I know everyone's like, you just buy a piece of day, but I actually like that idea of building everything in my home and getting it exactly to my taste. And Katie's as well. We actually popped to another site on another weekend to see the home that we've actually ended up presenting and we're gonna do a separate video on that. So if you're a first time buyer, I would recommend going to see them because I thought I was gonna hate them, but I absolutely loved them. So make sure you're following along because I'm gonna document it all and I might just give you a sneaky peek on the plot and the house type that we secured on the next first home diaries.
