Why it worked

The video uses a relatable, personal testimonial format that frames the university as a lifestyle choice rather than just an educational institution, making the promotional message feel authentic and aspirational.

Summary

Structure

1Introduction to the university choice
2Highlighting international student body
3Mentioning industry-focused learning
4Showcasing Berlin campus and lifestyle

Original caption

Why UE Germany?🧡🇩🇪 For me, it was about more than just getting a degree; I wanted global classmates, industry-focused learning, Berlin life, and the opportunity to experience even more of the world through a semester abroad!🌍✈️ Now, three years later, I’m doing exactly that from Australia along UE!🇦🇺🥹 ad/anzeige* #studyabroad #internationalstudent #college #university #education

Product placement

(a) University of Europe for Applied Sciences (UE) ACTS: the creator explicitly recommends it, details its benefits (international classmates, industry-focused learning, study abroad opportunities), and provides a direct call to action to visit their website. Removing this would change the entire purpose of the video. (b) TikTok, Joyn, Cupra, Netflix, Stranger Things, Victoria University, Ibis, Park Inn: these appear as incidental background elements or logos in the creator's vlogs and do not act.
