Can you actually get a high-end looking kitchen when your budget for the ENTIRE renovation is only £10,000? 👀 We’re about to find out. We didn’t want to spend £4–5k on the kitchen and leave ourselves with hardly anything for the bathroom, damp, flooring, decorating and everything else this house needs. But we also didn’t want it to look like we’d just bought the cheapest kitchen we could find. After comparing our options, we went with @howdensjoinery and managed to get their Witney Dove Grey shaker kitchen for £1,315.80 including VAT. The catch? It’s flat-pack, so we’ll be building and fitting the whole thing ourselves. And that isn’t the finished cost. We still need appliances and we’re sourcing our handles separately to see how far we can stretch the budget without compromising on the look. £1,315 down. £8,685 left. And quite a lot of house still to renovate 😂 We’re sharing every job, every mistake and every penny we spend to find out whether it’s actually possible to renovate an entire house for under £10k.
