If there's one thing my boys never say no to, it's making a mess, especially if there are treats involved. So today I partnered with Dollar General to put together a little Halloween afternoon at home with them. And honestly, this is my favorite kind of way to celebrate with them. I grabbed some cute Halloween decorations, everything we needed for an easy craft, and of course, a few things to make a fun Halloween treat together. I decorated everything first, then I basically let them take over from there, which as you can imagine, meant absolutely nothing went according to plan. But that's obviously the fun part of it. Dollar General has more than 100 Halloween items for just $1, so it was really easy to make the whole afternoon feel festive without going overboard. Honestly, it was so fun. We made a huge mess, ate probably way too much sugar, and now they're asking when we can do it all over again.
