Christa Pike is 'receiving life-saving care' after surviving two lethal injections during a failed execution in Tennessee. The 50-year-old death row inmate was taken to hospital after two doses of pentobarbital failed to end her life, her lawyers said. Her attorney Randy Spivey said they do not yet know Pike's prognosis, but confirmed she is alive and receiving treatment. Tennessee Governor Bill Lee has paused all executions for the rest of the year and ordered an independent review into what happened, while Pike's lawyers are seeking to have her death sentence commuted. 📸 IMAGN IMAGES via Reuters Connect, Reuters #christapike #news #usa #tennessee #deathrow
