Flower was Rescued 💝 DEADLINED FLOWER 🌸 10/7/26 WEDNESDAY BY 5 PM. ‼️ 📍Animal Resource Center Ontario, California ⚠️ Single Dog Recommended When I first posted Flower, she had a lot of interest—but unfortunately, no one came for her. 💔 I posted her as soon as I could because I’ve seen how quickly Malinois can decline in shelters, and I really wanted someone to see her in time. Now, even more is working against her. ARC is currently recommending Flower be the only dog in the home. I have seen some barrier reactivity from her while she’s in her kennel or when walking her passed other dogs in kennels. But this happens with stressed shelter dogs. I’m not sure if there was an incident that led to the shelter’s current recommendation, so I don’t want to speculate. That being said, for a Malinois, Flower has actually seemed pretty calm to me. She doesn’t come across as a dog who is completely out of control and needs extensive training just to function. From what I’ve personally seen, she seems more like an intermediate-level dog who would benefit from continued training and structure. Of course, she could show different sides of herself once she’s comfortable in a home, so I’d still encourage anyone interested to be prepared to handle a Mal and their energy ❤️ If you’re seriously interested in Flower but already have a dog, it may be worth asking ARC if a meet-and-greet with your dog on leash is possible. They have done this before, but I can’t promise they’ll be able to do one for Flower. 🌸 Flower | A013062 2-year-old female Belgian Malinois | 51.8 lbs | Spayed Please remember that Malinois are working dogs—not just a pretty breed. She needs someone prepared for the exercise, training, structure, and mental stimulation this breed requires. 🚨 She needs an adopter, foster, or rescue commitment before 10/7 at 5 PM. 📍 Animal Resource Center of the Inland Empire 1630 Shearwater St Ontario, California 91761 🕙 Open Tuesday–Sunday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Closed Mondays) 📞 (909) 321-1080 ##dog#dogs#shelterdog#rescuedog#dogsoftiktok Please call the shelter directly for the most current information on Flower. 🐾💔
