AI is now being used to design rocket engines. Noyron can simulate real-world physics, understand material properties, combustion, and fluid dynamics, and generate new engine designs from scratch. In one test, its design used a spiral cooling channel inspired by biological structures to handle extreme temperatures. The engine eventually melted during testing — but the data was fed back into the AI to improve the next design.
