I have done this job my entire adult life, and I think this is the most horrific bus tragedy we've had in decades.
There were 39 people on that bus, including the driver, their nine-year-old daughter, and students from Winter Haven High School.
Many of the passengers were transported to local hospitals for treatment and evaluation.
The superintendent praised recent bus evacuation drills for saving more lives.
