If you're a burnt out baddie with a business, it is hard to have the time and energy to grow and sustain your business. What we don't want is for you to build a business that looks successful on the outside, but you're extremely exhausted behind the scenes. Here are some low effort ways for you to grow and sustain your business. Tip number one, know what actually makes you money. Figure out which products or services are actually driving your profit. Then go all in on those. There's this platform I love called Collective. It handles all your business bookkeeping, your financials. It sends you quarterly P&Ls as they prep your quarterly taxes for you. These automated tools are game changers that help you easily identify products or services that are performing for you. Tip number two, reinvest the money you make strategically. It's so exciting when you start making money, see the dollars rolling in, go treat yourself to something, but you also want to reinvest some of your profit into the things that are going to help take your business to the next level. That could be better graphic design for stronger marketing, video editors to help you edit your content which then in turn helps grow your socials, investing in business management tools to make your life easier, or it could be an intern to handle your customer service or community management. Consider setting aside a small percentage of your profit each month, see how it affects your bottom line. Now, two tips for business sustainability. Tip number three, treat yourself like an employee. Sustainability means building a business that actually takes care of you. We don't even think about that, do we? You're going to give yourself health benefits and let me tell you how. It sounds expensive, but Collective makes it super easy and affordable. There is a healthcare portal where they partner with top health insurance companies. Their health insurance can save you up to 30% compared to purchasing on your own. You are saving 30% of your money. That is a lot when it comes to health insurance. So sign up for Collective using my link and you're going to get the first month free. Last tip before we go, build systems before you need them. So as you grow little by little, start to create repeatable systems for the things that you do all the time, client onboarding, invoicing, whatever applies to your business. The time you'll save from these actions will add to the time you have available to either recover from burnout or spend on improving your products or services, allowing you to sustain that business growth over time.
