The headline that shocked the nation yesterday. 16 year old, Irene Sofiya Mohd Khairool Faisal. Was d3ad in her school hall in Yong Peng, Johor. Now, the details that we have right now is so devastating. She went to school to attend some extra classes. Because she's a projected straight A student for SPM next year. And then her grandma... she lives with her grandma... realized that she's missing when her friends called the house to ask if she's home. And Irene wasn't. So they went to the school and she was found with dried blood on her body. Bruising believed to be consistent with being assaulted. Now 3 male students have been... detained in connection to Irene Sofiya's murd3r. However, the motive... is still under Investigation and.... the police is urging the public to not make situation worse. Don't speculate. Don't, you know... spread fake news, false rumors. But there has been word going around that this has.... some connection to do with rejection in the feelings... relationships, love side of things. Which is a very complicated thing when you are a young kid. Especially a teenager. It's not only complicated. It's also very scary. Now, looking at the trend... this is possibly the 4th case now in Malaysia to do with school stabbings or whatsoever. Or bullying. Bullying cases and murd3r cases as well. I mean... if you think about it. The case of what happened in the Bandar Utama school still feels fresh you know. I can't believe that we are reading a similar headline so soon into the future. I thought that was... a lesson big enough for everyone to you know.... pay attention to. But it has come around again. Yeah it has come around again. Looking at this situation. Let's talk a little bit about rejection here. I think I want to address this. Especially to the younger boys out there. I want to say this as an older brother. Even as an unc. At this point I don't care what I'm called right. The truth is... to the younger boys out there. To my younger bros. Rejection happens. It is real. So let's focus on the love part of rejection. You like a girl. She doesn't like you back. That is going to be absolutely normal in life. You can't act out because the girl doesn't like you. You can't be angry with her for not choosing you. Yes, and this is just one aspect of life, right? Imagine you grow up... you go to work. You have bosses... colleagues that might reject you. You might even face rejection within your family members itself. Your siblings, your cousins, whoever it is right? Yes and rejection is normal. Don't be angry! Even if there's anger because of the rejection. Take it out elsewhere! I don't know, go to the gym or really think it through, right? Because rejection is normal, guys! Trust me on this.
