Without medical care, he struggles with daily activities. Before the war and my injury, I was moving - I could take care of my own needs - work, go out, and do whatever I want. After the injury and the total loss of my sight, I cannot move without assistance. I cannot move on my own or do anything for myself. Shadi lost a leg in an Israeli airstrike. He is one of 6,000 Palestinians who have lost limbs since the start of Israel's war on Gaza. Before the war, I had a barbershop and lived a normal life. But after the war, Shadi lost his leg and his job. and his life turned into a living hell. A barbershop requires standing, yet today Shadi is an amputee. He has only one leg. Israel has killed at least 74,000 Palestinians since Oct. 2023. Some estimates say the true death toll is likely to be significantly higher. All of Sabreen's children were killed by Israel. I used to live with my family my parents, siblings and children. I was very happy before the war. Then the war came and took my entire family, even my children, it left me with no one to lean on. No one remains except me and my husband.
