Swipe to see the computer built to give your AI assistant a home. Ghost, led by 19-year-old founder Zain Javaid, has raised $11 million in seed funding led by Andreessen Horowitz, with participation from Abstract, Audacious Ventures, SV Angel and Nova. Its first product, Core, is designed to run personal AI agents around the clock. It connects to apps, wearables and smart home devices, giving its assistants context to help with everyday tasks. In its launch demo, Core finds a computer part and asks permission before ordering it. Ghost says its AI models run locally on the device. The ambition: an assistant that learns your routines and takes action, with you controlling how much it can do.
