Everyone said it was just a study abroad fling. I knew it wasn’t 🤍 We met when I was studying abroad in Sevilla in 2018. We dated for one month before I had to fly home, 4,000 miles away, and by every logical measure that should have been the end of it. But it wasn’t. We did long distance, then finally lived in the same city, then had to go back to long distance again. There were time differences, missed moments, and so many airport goodbyes. More than once it would have been easier to walk away. I just never could. Something in me always knew he was my person, even when it didn’t make sense on paper.
