1. Learn before you cram. Don’t wait for exams. Start early enough to actually understand the topic. 2. Read, close, recall. After studying, close your material and explain what you just learned without looking. 3. Study ahead. Get the course outline and meet your lecturer halfway. Class becomes easier when the topic isn’t completely new to you. 4. Turn topics into questions. Instead of just reading “Causes of X,” ask yourself: What are the causes? Which is most important? Can I explain them? 5. Attack your weakest course. Don’t always study what you enjoy. Give more attention to the courses you struggle with. 6. Revisit what you’ve learned. Come back to topics after a few days. Understanding something once doesn’t mean you’ll remember it during an exam. 7. Practice past questions. Don’t just use them the night before exams. Use them to test your understanding and learn how questions are asked. 8. Study with a goal. Don’t just say, “I’ll study for 3 hours.” Give yourself a target: “I’ll master two topics and answer 20 questions.” #becomingisaac #students #studytok #howtostudy #consistency
