* seeing little black dots or flashing lights in my vision * getting a stiff neck hours before a migraine starts * feeling nauseous without actually having a headache * getting a headache from wearing my hair up * feeling physically sick from bright lights * struggling to look at my phone because the screen makes my head hurt * getting a throbbing headache after exercising * feeling dizzy when i turn my head too quickly * craving chocolate or sugary foods before an attack * feeling pain behind one eye * having one side of my face or head hurt more than the other * feeling like everyday noises are physically painful * getting tingling or numbness before a migraine * feeling worse when i bend over or move around * struggling to speak or find the right words during an attack * feeling sensitive to touch around my scalp and face * getting a headache after crying * feeling completely exhausted for days after the worst of the pain has passed * having migraine symptoms even when my head doesn’t hurt * feeling like one migraine never fully ends before the next one begins i grew up thinking migraine was just a really bad headache, but there are so many symptoms i never realised could be connected. some of these can happen during the prodrome, aura, attack or postdrome, and not everyone experiences them. what’s a migraine symptom you wish more people knew about? 🤍 #chronicmigraine #migraineawareness #invisibleillness
