A young creator has a message for people in their 20s who are already living with the worries of their 40s. In the reel, filmed while walking outdoors, he says that if you are 25 or 30, you should not start seeing yourself as 40 or 45 and carrying that age's tensions today. His advice: listen to parents, grandparents and elders, and observe what they say, but do not start aligning your life with it from today. Elders, he says, are sharing the experience of a lifetime - they did not know it all the day they were born. He admits he used to instantly measure himself against everything he heard, until he realised he still has plenty of time. Letting those realities occupy your mind too early, he warns, will ruin your youth and make you old before your time. Your age, he says, is for learning. He is careful to add that elders are not wrong: their guidance is right, but our instant alignment with it is where we go wrong. His closing words: stay 25 if you are 25, do not let the child inside you die, wait for your time and grow up first - and the rest will follow on its own.
