DJK BBQ has been offering charcoal-grill bbq for over 20 years but not many locals know this place exists! They offer many traditional Korean dishes you can’t commonly find in San Diego, alongside KBBQ Located in the Thang Thang plaza They’ve always done à la carte ordering, but now they offer AYCE! Their AYCE doesn’t only come with several meat options, but other items like sushi, spicy cold noodles, and instant ramen station I opted for their à la carte where I ordered their combo meat platter (comes with my choice of soup), as well as spicy cold noodles with spicy pork, seafood pancake, mackeral, and yogurt soju! The food was yummy and the side dishes were great. They make their side dishes in-house and it was so cool to see that they have their own noodle-making machine in the back! My favorites were the spicy cold noodle, meats, and soup! Highly recommend giving them a try! Just be mindful that the restaurant can be a bit smoky because of the charcoal grills.
